The magazine deals with the problems of the agricultural sector of the economy in the context of integration and processes of globalization. Attention is paid to the issues of development of digital economy, rural territories, technologies of enterprise management and organization of accounting, problems of legal support of economic processes, market tendencies of development of various branches of economy. Particular attention is paid to green tourism as a promising segment of the national economy.
ECONOMIC AND ECOLOGICAL BENEFITS OF USING BIOGAS PLANTS IN HOUSEHOLDS

Preconditions of organization of biogas production by households in Ukraine are grounded. The aggregate income and expenses of households are analyzed, it is determined that the expenses for housing and communal services, incl. natural gas, occupy more than half of the wages of the population. The price of natural gas for the population has increased by almost 6.5 times in recent years, thus there is an economic ground for the replacement of expensive natural gas by biogas of own production. Ecological factors contributing to the production of biogas include the possibility of ecological use of organic household wastes. A brief overview of existing simple biogas plants in Ukraine is made. Comparison of biogas with traditional energy sources at the energy outlet has been made and the necessary amount of biogas for the needs of a household consisting of 2-3 persons has been calculated. Economic benefits from the use of biogas, including energy autonomy, absence of necessity to purchase mineral fertilizers, and additional profit from the sale of surplus production are determined. The ecological effect will consist in utilizing wastes and sewages and improving the hygiene situation for individual users.
