Ukrainian History and Philosophy, Vinnytsia National Agrarian University ( 21008, Vinnytsia, 3,

The article emphasizes that tourism is developing today and requires specialists with knowledge of economics, finance, languages, historical past and cultural achievements of foreign countries, Ukraine and its regions. The last factors are relevant. The past and present of Ukraine are more clearly seen through the history of the regions. Their landmark pages will help understand the Ukrainian context and answer the question: who are we and why? Interest in the history of the regions and the search for answers to questions that are of concern to Ukrainians today will increase the tourist attractiveness of the country. Paraphrasing the well-known statement of M. Lomonosov, it is possible to argue, that Ukraine in our times will increase its regions. It's obvious that this time has come!
History is an extremely complex interconnection of epochs, the actions of many generations. Moreover, the subjects of the historical process were and are under the civilization influence of different people and states, which makes local and not only history is especially interesting and attractive for both the researcher and the tourist. Moreover, the spiritual life of the Podillians was formed under influence, in separate historical periods and confrontation, between the eastern and western branches of Christianity.
Historical and cultural heritage of Podillya was mainly formed under the civilization influence of Europe and Russia. 500 years ago in 1596, as a result of the signing of the Union of Lublin between Lithuania and Poland, Podillya land was included in the latter.
Since 1793, after the second division of Poland, the region is the part of the Russian Empire. A constituency was formed, and then − Podillya province.
Separate periods of the Soviet past are better perceived through the regional dimension, as well as the consequences of Ukraine's withdrawal from the USSR
