The article deals with the origin, essence and types of social responsibility. The concept of corporate social responsibility as a voluntary conscious initiative of a business and its interrelation with the notion of human social responsibility are investigated. The problem of human responsibility as a duty to anticipate the effects of its activities becomes extremely acute in the context of the "ethics of responsibility" at the turn of the millennium. The purpose of this article is to study the phenomenon of social responsibility in Ukraine in the context of sustainable human development.
The structure of social relations of social responsibility is analysed. The importance of developing ethics of human responsibility for the provision of 17 global goals of sustainable development has been identified.
Within the limits of this article concrete examples of possible realization by the citizens of Ukraine of some tasks of the national system of the CSR are determined. Specified tasks can be fulfilled both in the personal private initiative and coordinating their efforts with the network of public associations in the chosen field of activity. The basic legal acts regulating social relations in the sphere of realization of specific tasks of the national system of the CSR are specified.
The possibilities of man and citizen in realization of the tasks of the national system of goals of sustainable development in Ukraine are explored. Specific examples and legal framework for the implementation of these tasks are outlined. The areas of human social responsibility and communitarian social responsibility are determined.
The philosophical and theoretical-methodological basis for it is the fact that the provision of sustainable social dynamics requires socially responsible behavior of all subjects of social relations, and not just business.
The conclusion is made on the need to study the social responsibility of people in higher education institutions. This will make it possible to fulfil the objectives of the national system of sustainable development goals for the establishment of a socially equitable and environmentally oriented society in Ukraine.
