TERMS OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE FACTORS IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM IN MATHEMATICAL PREPARATION

The article considers the essence of the concepts of “professional competence” and “mathematical
competence” of tourism professionals. It is argued that mathematical preparation is an important
component of professional competence.
It is proved that the combination of classroom training with the simultaneous passage of educational
and industrial practices will allow you to create a model of professional education of specialists as a kind
of socio-cultural environment.
It has been substantiated that, in view of the new requirements for specialists, the content of
mathematical training should be transformed. As an effective tool is the presentation of the content in the
context of professional tasks that involve mathematical modeling using information technology. During
this, it is worth adhering to the following conditions: structuring the content of mathematical disciplines
in accordance with the contemporary demands of science and practice; content optimization by the
criterion of the significance of the main provisions in the formation of the professional competence of a
specialist; integration of the content of mathematical disciplines based on professional orientation;
attracting students to creative activities when applying the methods of mathematical modeling; the use of
theoretical principles in practice; information technology applications; the use of active forms and
methods of teaching; formation of the ability to build mathematical models, choose a mathematical
method, apply numerical methods, interpret the results in economic terms.
